❝I talked with Xander about things, and I can definitely make it to your next performance.❞

“Oh wonderful. I know I’ll have one coming up in about a week so it’d be lovely to see you there.”

❝I talked with Xander about things, and I can definitely make it to your next performance.❞

“Oh wonderful. I know I’ll have one coming up in about a week so it’d be lovely to see you there.”
❝Oh please, there is no need to be so humble! You should take pride in your work.❞

“I suppose you’re right. I’ve historically had issues with being overtly modest from time to time. So ..maybe I’m trying to work on that.”
❝Wonderful! I’m sure you’ll be fantastic.❞

“Well, I’d like to hope as much. But I don’t like to give myself that much credit.”
❝Oh my goodness! You certainly keep busy. I’d love to see you preform sometimes if that’s okay with you.❞

“Yeah, it’s a busy life. But it’s still a lot more relaxed than it used to be. But yeah, I’d be glad to invite you to the next time I perform.”
❝Definitely. What sort of things do you like to do in your free time?❞

“I like to read a lot, take long walks in the forest, perform music at open mics and recitals, tinker with inventions, I’ve gotten into knitting a bit, play piano, and visit cultural centers.”
❝Definitely. I think it’s for the best though, and I actually really enjoy cooking too. It’s one of my favorite things to do now.❞

“Indeed. And it’s really great that you picked up a new activity to enjoy. Always fun when life seems to work out that way.”
❝Yeah, I never used to cook but when I had a kid I figured I needed to learn. Couldn’t have the poor thing eat leftover pizza like me.❞

“Makes sense that you’d learn with the arrival of a kid. That tends to change a lot of people’s lifestyles quite a bit to try and have better habits.”
❝It’s good that you’re cooking though. Before I adopted Aristotle, I never used to cook. I lived on takeout.❞

“I do my best. Hah, I understand how that happens. It’s easy to rely on not having to do much of the work yourself.”
❝Definitely. I love to cook, but I won’t do it if the food will go to waste. I guess that’s why I always have guests over.❞

“I understand that. I don’t really have too many guests so I tend to just make enough for me to survive the week.”
❝Then we’ll make that too! Gosh, we’re going to have so much bread leftover…Maybe I’ll bring some to church. I swear, half of the reason people like me is because I always bring baked goods.❞

“Heh. Yeah, I suppose we’ll have toshare some of the leftovers. Just to make sure it gets some proper use. The least we could do was shared the baked goods.”
