[text] Yeah. I’m feeling a little better. I just have those dark moods sometimes.
[text] Went to my appointment and it went pretty well. So that’s a start.
“I could never be a doctor. Blood freaks me out and I’m not good at keeping calm in those situations. A lot of respect to people who can do it I really have no idea how 99% of it is even possible” he shrugs “i can barely make a cast right. Had to get a doctor to fix my finger.”
“Oh yeah. It’s got to be a ton of pressure to keep cool for that. I’m not entirely certain how they do it. I can keep mostly collected but even that would take it’s toll on me after a while. ”It was certainly a profession Saam was actually grateful for.
“It was a dangerous game making friends back then. You never knew if they’d drop dead the next day. Happened all the time, got really annoying. Thank yiu technology” he laughs “medicineis really weird when you think about it. Like, two years ago I had a skull fracture. They just opened up my head and took all the blood out then stapled it back together and now I’m fine. How did they find out how to do that without killing people? And these days if you don’t like your nose or want bigger boobs they can fix that too.. and like, if you are a man you can become a woman? Medicine is weird”
“For real. ” They chuckle a little bit too. “Hah yeah, the miraculous things people can accomplish. That must have taken so long to figure out how to do that properly. You can fix damn near anything. And vice versa about becoming whoever. ”Becoming a bit of neither still remained up in the air but that could go unsaid. “Medicine is really strange but fascinating.”
“They use them nowadays to eat out necrotic skin, I’ve heard. But yeah it doesn’t cure consumption like they thought it did. That’s another thing that’s weird stuff that killed everyone back then now has gone extinct. People have no idea how much easier life is now that they don’t have to worry about getting the plague”
“Yeah, pretty useful. At least they finally managed to figure that out.Indeed, it’s fascinating to see all those things go extinct because more developments have been coming up so quickly. Right, they just have no sense of scale as to how awful literally so much was.”
