Matt held them close, pulling Saima even closer to his side before he tugged the both of them off.
Traveling in this manner was second nature to him, an easier, intrinsic magic, movement of particles and being through that which he was most connected with – the ground. It was quick and dark and suffocatingly heavy, until it was not, and their feet hit solid ground once more.
Upon arriving Matt turned his attention first to his lover, making sure they had traveled well beside him, not in need of a rest or some respite before exploring further into the ancient and deep woods they’d settled in.
Before Saima knew it, they were off alongside Matt – moving through the world in such a quick matter. It felt like hardly much had happened at all outside of being pulled so close to Matt, which had been a nice touch. Even if it was more of a safety and staying close thing.
Even the little moments, Saima couldn’t resist finding some pleasure and contentment in. Upon arrival, they stomped their feet a little to reassure themselves that they were back on solid ground.
“Glad we manage to get through that just fine.“
