“I can appreciate that.” William declares and finishes his tea. “Perhaps someday I will travel to Estonia.” he muses. “Any advice you are willing to share?”

“I would recommend that you do but I obviously have a bias there.”  They chuckle as they take a few more sips from their drink. “I’d encourage you to catch a live performance while you’re there because that’s always a good time. And to actually go out into the countryside. The nature is absolutely gorgeous out there.”

will–power:

William nods thoughtfully. “It sounds like its a place full of interesting and creative people,” he decides with a smile. “I’m glad you speak so highly of them.” he finishes. “So, for what reason, might I ask, are you doing here? An adventure?”

“Well. I do come of them. It seems only expected that I would speak well of them. ” They would only speak nicely of those that were responsible for staying so long, it was their only option sometimes. “I guess I just like visiting different places when I can.”

will–power:

He listens as Saamuel speaks, hoping he hadn’t possibly upset them. He smiled at the mention of such small creatures as their favourites. “Oh my. Those are such cute animals,” he comments with a chuckle.”Amazing little things.”

They chuckle a little bit, glad that their choices had been approved. “Yeah, they’re absolutely darling creatures. I love seeing them in action when I can. and since they’re native to my home, I get to see them a solid amount.”

will–power:

“I do not want you to feel pressured, however, when you do feel so inclined, there are some amazing animals in the shelters and pounds that I am certain would love to become your companion. Many shelters will even assist you in finding an animal that will fit your life style.” he informs just incase the other didn’t know. “Again, I do not want you to feel as if I am pressuring you; I am aware animal companions can be a handful and you should not have one until you are prepared for that extended responsibility.” he nods “Do you have a favourite animal?”

“Thanks for the information.” Sometimes they had considered visiting a shelter but they knew that the lifestyle they lived wasn’t always the most conducive to that of a living pet so they always found themselves refraining. “Right. And that awareness of the need for responsibility has prevented me from going forth and getting one. While I feel like I could take care of an animal, I just don’t feel comfortable trying fulltime right now.I’ll gladly pet sit for others if they need it though.” It was the one way they had managed to get some kind of regular interaction with animals.

“Ah. Oh I don’t know. I’m fond of the barn swallow. And I like flying squirrels. ASo those are a few I like in particular.”

will–power:

“What a good dog.” William replies with a cheery smile, turning his head to see the dog again even if just for a brief second. “Animals are the best,” he declares and decides perhaps to press the conversation a little. “Do you have any?” he inquires, hopeful.

“Animals are pretty cool.” It was moments like these where Saamuel casually regretted never acting on their casual desires to get a pet of some kind. “Alas, I haven’t had one in a while. I don’t really know why I haven’t bothered. I guess I never felt like I was the right person for an animal at this point in my life.”

will–power:

After a little while, William closes the note book and picks up his tea, sitting back in his chair as he enjoys it and his company. He actually did enjoy conversations but he’d rather not bombard his guest with conversation when it was fairly clear by their body language that they preferred silence in situations such as this. He looked off around them, watching others as they too enjoyed their early afternoon. Though, then he saw a dog and a large smile came to his face as he watched them pass. He turns the smile to Saamuel and gestures to the dog. “Did you se that dog?”

Content to observe, Saam remained quiet except for the idle humming of a song that kept playing in their head. The sight of a dog piqued their attention as did William’s reaction to it. Saam gives a small grin in return. “I did, I did. It was just so cute. I do like seeing a nice animal out and about. They are pretty precious after all.”

will–power:

“Thank you,” he says at the compliment, sitting up straighter with some pride. It was nice to have a compliment now and again. He doesn’t say anything further, assuming Saamuel would prefer some silence  amongst the two of them for now, continuing his work and taking a sip of his tea.

“You’re welcome.” With that said, Saam was perfectly comfortable to just sit in silence and enjoy the rest of their mocha. It was rare that they had these kinds of moments with people that weren’t from their homeland. But here was a nice silence that they could enjoy for the moment.

will–power:

He turns the note book around to reveal William’s view of the patio in pencil. “I enjoy it,” he answers with a smile before turning the note book once again to continue working. “I’m glad your drink is good.” He states with a hum.

At the sight of the drawing, they smile. “Oh wow. You’re pretty good. Nice.” With that they continued sipping at their drink. “Thanks. Glad that you enjoy drawing.” It always did seem like a cool skill to have,

will–power:

After a moment, the napkin William had gone inside to retrieve appeared as William used to to blend the shading on his piece before he pocketed it once more and returning to his work. After a few minuets, William, without looking up, speaks. “Hows your Mocha, Saamuel?” he inquires politely. He really was asking because he cared.

A few moments more of sipping, Saam had been content to sit in silence. But the question about their drink was asked. “It’s pretty good. I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit. How’s that drawing progressing – seems like it’s fun for you to get into that sort of thing.”

will–power:

“When your drink comes, just come out and join me, then. I look forward to your company,” he says and slips out of the busy building to his patio seat.

A nod of agreement. “Will do.” Saam waits for a few more moments. Thir drink finally arrives and they carry it out with them to join William at the table. It was nice to finally get out of the bustling building and join someone at a seat outside.
