“Anu Aun? That name sounds familiar…. Maybe I met someone once with a similar name. Your call, the only movies I’ve seen in the past month have been two Korean films, sorry. East loves horror films.”
“Maybe, her work has been becoming a bit more prominent. Sounds cool, I’ll pull them up. But that’s good too – horror films are pretty interesting to watch.“
“Sounds good to me! Pick what you want to see and we’ll watch it.”
“There’s this film November that’s really interesting and relates a lot to folkllore. I also would like to see this short film ‘Shift’ by Anu Aun which is more modern and this film Ada + Otto which is a fun animation short.”
“Might have to check out these films that won First Look awards, it’s so nice to see creatives getting their deserved credit for excellent work.“ They are a little proud actually of a few of their folks earning that recognition.
Little moments like these mean a lot.
