nulemti:

Go excessive at first, that’s more fun. [Grins, slowly sitting so she can undo the straps on her shoes]

Sit when doing this, trust me. [There’s a fading bruise on her jaw from falling over]

We’ll just see. [they give a little grin in return]

[A nod of understanding as they sit to take off their current shoes – modest shoeboots]

nulemti:

[Grins] Do you want to try? It’d be fun! [She’ll need to sit down to actually take these off though]

I suppose I could take a shot.Recently I considered getting some – although maybe not that high.

nulemti:

I like feeling tall. [There’s a giggle, and she manages a turn] I don’t think I could dance in these, but I think I can walk!

Well you definitely look incredibly tall. So, congrats.

At least you can walk – that’s the most important and basic part.

nulemti:

So, how do I look? This isn’t too much, is it?

[She splurged on a pair of boots with a six-inch heel. She’s at 6′7 and somehow not falling on her ass]

[Well, damn]

I mean. It’s a lot – but it’s still pretty great. So no complaints from me.

nulemti:

“Cryptids.” A giggle adds on to that, becoming a snort as she loses herself for a moment. “I learned that term recently, it’s actually really fun.” She had been seen in the dark of the woods from time to time, perhaps people talked about it.

“Yeah, we could be cryptids. That would be fun. Little secret thoughts about whether or not we’re even real.” Saamuel had gotten a kick out of learning about cryptid stories and frankly considering their kind to be such would be entertaining, if nothing else.

nulemti:

Normal people didn’t do things like this, know people for so long. It was an odd thing, though she was no longer bothered by it. “True geniuses,” Laima replied with a huff, waving her free hand. “I’m surprised that we aren’t legends yet.”

Saam chuckled a little bit. “I suppose we could be legends in some places.  Like secret legends or something.” Maybe they were part of some odd conspiracy theory surfacing through rumors.

nulemti:

“Mm. Clever.” Responding in tired agreement, Laima sighed, trying not to breathe heavily on them. There was no point in being weird, after all, no matter how long she knew Saam. “I am very clever. You are too, yes yes.”

As far as Saam was concerned if you knew someone this long, the whole point was being weird. But that’s another story altogether. “Well good. Guess we can be clever together or something like that. ”

nulemti:

“Lying is an art. I’m not an artist.” Laima let out a little puff at her own joke, rolling her eyes and further leaning on Saam. They were a good prop, well enough for her to let her head loll and flop on top of the other’s. “But, I don’t know about you.”

“Heh. I see.” A dry little response, chuckling at the joke. If nothing else, Saam was good at remaining still. Leading to being used as a prop from time to time as was the case now. “Yea I am an enigma after all. Or something like that.”

nulemti:

Laima’s always been an affectionate sort, despite her anxieties. One would be hard-pressed to recall a different time. “I think we’re all lying when we say that.” Her reply is cheeky, messy with her own laughter.

“Hah, I suppose we’re all a bunch of terrible liars then. What a real tragedy.” Sarcastic tone drives Saam’s remarks before they snicker a little bit more. Amused by the thought of cheeky responsibses and jokes about how everyone is clearly not trying.

nulemti:

“I do my best.” She’s beaming, bright-eyed at the commentary from the other, laying another kiss on their temple. “And you are sweet to me.” Laima paused, leaning against the other’s side, her smile a bit dopey.

They give a smile in return, really actually enjoying the kisses to the temple. “I would like to say that I try my best.” It was nice to feel trusted and there was something satisfying about having a friend by their side.
