Saima has worked as a private musical tutor, a scholar, a farmer, servant, and scientist in a few of the different jobs that they have taken up over the years. They still keep up with music lessons every so often for local kids.
“Of course. No problem, I can easily do that for you, Saima. Let me know if there’s ever anything else I can do to help make you feel more comfortable and confident. Sound good?” Eliot couldn’t quite understand how they felt, but he certainly wanted to help out in some way. “I can even take you shopping if you ever want to. I know some really nice local shops that might have things you’d be interested in.”
“I’ll be sure to let you know. Sounds good to me.” Of course maybe sometime they’d explain it further to Eliot but for now keeping it relatively simple felt like the best course of action.
“Oh. Going shopping would be nice. I’ve been taking a liking to nice softer things these days.“
“Continue doing that then. If it makes you feel better then go ahead. You do look absolutely wonderful though and I support whatever you want to do. I’m simply glad you feel well.”
“I do appreciate the support. It’s support like that which boosts a lot of my confidence to go through with it. Though I’d love it if you would call me Saima these days. Since it’s a name that I prefer to use. They/them for pronouns. Just to keep you updated since it’s been a minute.”
“Thanks. I quite like how you look as well. Your hair is very attractive and suits you well, I like it. You look great.”
“You’re welcome. Ah, I really appreciate that. I’ve been doing some major personal changes so it’s nice that it seems to be coming across pretty well. I feel pretty good too.”
