“And a hello to you too, Ivar.” They couldn’t resist chuckling in response to a peck on the cheek. It still registered as rather unexpected but a welcome show of care. “You seem to be in a rather pleasant mood, hm?”

A small little smile appears as they are smooched on the cheeks by their close friend. If one looked closely, there was a hint of a blush there – all too endeared by such actions. If that wasn’t a warm welcome, they didn’t really know what was. ‘Cecile, please. You are too kind to me. I do hope you’ve been well.’

Oh hello, Lilli. Thanks for the tin. [They take the time to examine it carefully, getting ideas about how they may put it to use.]
I have some coffee ready on the put in the kitchen, if you could get me a mug of that, I’d appreciate it.

“Thanks, Lud. It means a lot to hear that. I’ve been going about things fairly differently these days. And any support in going a different path is totally appreciated. ”

“I still don’t know how she’s such a good friend to me. Cecile is simply grand to be around. And I don’t know…In some other timeline, some alternative universe or something- let me not. Let me shut up. She’s a delight. And I should call sometime soon. Let me sleep instead.”

“…You know, I do worry about being of some trouble to him. It’s something that does pass through my mind. It’s just a side condition of having undergone so many changes in my existence while being around him. I do worry about whether it’s too much. I’m always wary of the potential to be too much for others around me.”
⚡️ ANGRY
💧 SAD

Angry and sad Saima are surprisingly similar, at least at first. There’s this common sullenness and purposeful withdrawal from company that tends to go along with such negative feelings. In both cases, they are going to avoid talking about what had been bothering them. Best not to cause a scene in public if they can help it.
What happens behind closed doors tends to be the difference. Angry Saima gets incredibly cold, their words cutting like blades through the source of their anger. And one can very easily see the tense nature in which they carry themselves, as if restraining from taking some kind of destructive action. Their eyes can bore right through you in a way that is quite intimidating if witnessed, and one can tell that their guard is practically impenetrable if one approaches them the wrong way while they are upset.
Sad Saima is much more resigned, exhausted by the whole effort. They tend to be quiet as well – but in a way that suggests that they have very little energy. They are more receptive to others in this state, but they will also be highly apologetic for anyone having to witness them in such a despairing state as the light seems to drain out of their presence while in such moods.

The easiest way to tell when Saima is amused is to notice the appearance of their eyes. There will be a hint of mischief, an extra light there – brightening up already quite striking eyes. The light will then spread to their smile, quirking open increasingly wide. They will likely find themselves chuckling in response to whatever has caused them such mirth, unable (and likely unwilling) to contain their reaction any more than they absolutely have to.

I’d love to have some of your lamb. I have a friend who’d definitely be willing to try some of that as well. So it’d be put to good use between them and I eating it.

Ah yes, the time of year when they realize they tend to forget that Valentine’s Day is a thing. Friendship Day priorities, really.
“I don’t think I really have plans. Why do you ask?“
