[I’m just thinking a lot about Saima coming to terms with a vastness that felt so foreign to them for so long – yet has been present throughout their entire existence. And so it’s really a whole another coming of age in a sense. 

Trying to find ways to surface that in the way that they interact with people that there has been a marked difference lately.

it’s really a number of transformations and becoming more aware of a self so long hidden away and suppressed on multiple levels. 

I have a lot of feelings about that and the connections to tricksters in mythology and the way that having a sharp wit about you has such usefulness in especially estonian tales. and i just.. i have a lot of weird rambling thoughts that are nice to consider. ]

“Perfect,” she snapped her fingers, already knowing this was going to be fun. “Do you have a preference? I’d give you the honors on choosing our first victim.”

   “I always like scaring those who seem too full of themselves. Tend to be high-power types. It’s fun making them lose their composure. I’m sure we could find one of those quite easily.” The whole idea of picking someone to scare was already making Saima excited enough.

“Nature should be well taken care of,” Coatli nodded, anyone who respected nature was on her protect list. There were so few of those.

“Hmm, that is very sweet of you to say. Not sure my children would have the same sentiment.” Not that she knew where her children were. She had the sense they were dead and if she was being honest, she was not too sure she wanted to remember that particularly part of her past.

“Indeed. It’s so easy for people to take advantage of it – but..it’s really the only thing that’s been here all along.“ Saima had always been incredibly attached to nature, it felt quite close to their core.

“…Perhaps not. But I was just saying things from what I knew. Of course, your children would likely have more direct experience to know for sure. “
