“Hello, I hope you do not mind, but could you hold this for me?” In any other situation he wouldn’t have bothered a stranger with such a request, but this seemed rather dire – poor thing would get trampled if he didn’t act quickly.
A small gecko, only a few centimeters long, was handed to the stranger, gently, with a quick warning, “Do not let her escape,” while Matt ducked between commuters to go chase after the other tiny reptile.
“…Ah yeah, sure. I’ll keep a close eye on this.“ Well, this was a sudden request. But Saima did oblige and hold on to the gecko. They spent a few moments looking at the precious little gecko and back at the person who addressed them in the first place.
Somehow this was probably going to be an interesting situation. While gently holding the reptile, Saima couldn’t help but wonder about this whole deal. So many questions, so little answers.
