❝Oh, this is gorgeous! It’ll look wonderful on you.❞ Her friend has always had a great taste in fashion though so she isn’t surprised that they made such a wonderful selection. ❝Should we go try everything on?❞
“Thanks! Here’s to that being the case.” It seemed that Saima had developed quite the eye for what fitted them and was more than happy to show it. “Ah yeah, got to make sure this stuff fits after all.”
❝I think so too. Plus, I love the slit on the side will make you look even taller than you already are.❞ Since Rosemary is fairly small herself, she has gotten good at picking clothes which appear to increase her height. ❝Did you see anything else you liked?❞
“Yeah, I noticed that. Nothing wrong with a flattering slit on the side.” In their browsing, they had found a nice couple of blouses. “Ah yeah – let me see.” Moving softly and quickly, they select a few light blue and light green blouses that have a tunic-like structure. “I’m a sucker for these kinds of things – very soft and cozy material and good little details with the white patterns on there.”
Rosemary holds the shorts to her waist and giggles in delight. ❝Right? I just love lace.❞ After taking the shorts she walks to the rack of dresses, and then pulls out a white one with a blue floral pattern. ❝I think this one would suit you.❞
“I understand the appeal. Something about it just takes clothing up a level in some ways.” They idly look around getting to the dresses just in time to see the one Rosie has selected. “Oh, I do like a good floral pattern. Especially in blue – it’s such a nice shade.” They go to touch the dress, just to get a feel for the material.
Rosemary nods as she leads the way to the shop. After Saima walks in, she follows her inside and immediately starts looking around. ❝I know I just said that I wanted flowy things but I love these shorts.❞ As she says this, she holds up a pair of shorts adorned with white lace.
Entering the store, Saima starts to survey the area humming to themselves as they browsed. Their attention is taken though, by Rosie’s “Oh those are pretty cute. Nice lace makes anything a little more enjoyable.”
❝Me too. I really have no time for tight clothes anymore…I just want to be comfortable.❞ In the Summer especially, wearing flowy clothes are a fantastic way to keep cool. ❝We can go to that lil’ boutique over there. I always get cute stuff from them!❞
“Honestly, I get it. I like looking nice but never at the cost of comfort. I have to want to be around and move in what I wear.” It was something they had always stood for even when they presented differently years ago.
❝Well here we are!❞ Most of the time Rosemary goes shopping it’s for her children, so she is absolutely delighted that she can go shopping for herself for once. ❝Are you looking for something particular Saima?❞
“Here we are indeed.” It was nice to have an excuse to go shopping, especially with a good friend. “Ah not really. Just a few things to add to summer clothing. I’m always on the look out for nice flowy materials.”
❝Definitely! There is nothing I love more than a long flowy dress. They’re pretty and comfortable too.❞ Rosemary’s smile grows as she pushes some hair behind her ear. ❝I think I could actually use another dress. Maybe we should go shopping together some time.❞
“Yeah, they let you feel the breeze and stay really comfortable in warm weather. Which is always welcomed. Oooh, shopping sounds like a good time. Let me know when you’re free.”
❝Wonderful! You know, the only downside about summer is that it’s way too hot to wear my knitted clothes. I guess it’s okay though since I get to wear my dresses instead.❞
“True. At least more flowy clothing seems to sweep around you in such a nice way. I like taking advantage to wear kind of nice skirts, blouses and dresses.”
