“Oh? Uh, I’m sorry, I … I like the woods so I’m out here.” That was all, really, just a desire to take a break from healing and the city and their homework. The being before them – certainly not human, but unknown otherwise, didn’t seem maleficent, but they were wary nonetheless, tucking the leaves back into their pocket.
“Don’t think you needed to scare me, but it’s okay …” They shifted to draw their knees up to their chest with a bit of a sigh, try to slow their heartrate back down. “Are you also just … Out here?”
“That’s very fair. You don’t to apologize for liking the woods.“ They knew the apology was likely coming out some wariness and/or fear. Perhaps Saima should have known the reaction was to somewhat defend their actions in one way or another. It’s better to own it – but…suppose that in this case it doesn’t apply.
“Pff. No I didn’t need to but I got a little entertainment from doing so. Alas, you just happened to be distracted enough to pull a stunt on. But yes.. I’m just out here more often than not. I usually am in deeper parts so I don’t see people all that often.“
