Celestra-5, or Celestra, The Fifth Sector, was a major city on Planet Brus which, while it had a single Sun, had two moons that were a fraction of the Sunās size. Celestra-5 was particularly attractive however, and received traffic from all over the galaxy because of this ranging from simple tourists in single ships to famous celebrities on First Class Luxury Ships known across galaxies. The Purpling Rim Galaxy, which was where the Planet Brus was located, was the least populated therefore it gained the most traffic
Even now, there was a steady stream of traffic carefully piloting towards the main station where the ships passed through a sophisticated checking system before they were actually allowed passage into the city. Terrorism wasnāt unheard of, and the system was actually a very good effort put forth by Brus as a whole.
Work was in abundance, and both human and aliens (whom were each protected by a single set of laws), either walked the streets, rode their flight bikes which were limited to how much altitude they could achieve, or moseyed along in their hover-vehicles, commonly known as āhov-vehcsā for short.
One lone figure stood working on what had to be little more than a construction area in which a wider area sat farther off to the side, unused, but there was a flat platform there little more than a few inches off the ground giving how much it was buried in the dirt. Said figure worked without much pause at all, hammering away at a modern car tire sized rock.
Ā With another place came another beginning. So it was thatĀ Saima found themselves landing within Celestra-5. This is yet another stop in the eternal journey of learning about the folklore of the universe. As part of their routine, the alien would be sticking around performing and collecting stories by getting to know people in the area. It had been a routine that had been building them more and more of a reputation over time. This reputation had lead to requests of people wanting them to hang out and perform in their cities. This request had brought Saima to Celestra-5 although it helped that it was part of their plans to visit them already.Ā
Now in the city, Saima had been walking around accompanied by one of their contacts who had made the original request. They were trying to find an appropriate place to perform. Saima played a native string-like instrument to their home planet while singing and thus would need a space with solid acoustics just to emphasize the sound. While they wouldnāt have any problems with projecting, any assistance would be helpful.Ā
Chatting with their host, the alien passed by a smallĀ construction while seeing a wider area unused off to the side. Curious about why it hadnāt been used, Saima asked about whether they could use it – since they always did have a weakness for performing outdoors. Ā It didnāt seem to be any kind of trouble and so the host encouraged Saima to go and setup since it would fit their wanderer vibe. With that decision made, the alien went to check out that little platform and start testing out the way sound was coming from the place.
A little reassurance that they place would work quite well as a starting place from their companion, Saima started to play in earnest – letting the otherworldly sound and presence of their voice and strumming do the work. It didnāt take long for the sound to be noticed but as far as Saima was concerned, it could be an audience of one and that would be enough.
