“I had a feeling that might be the case.” she murmured, smiling. “I almost feel like I should promise to take you somewhere important to me when we get back…I’m not sure I have an equivalent though.” She’d had a lot of homes over the years, some that were special to her and some that held only memories best pushed to the back of her mind, but half of them weren’t even standing anymore, let alone as pristine and beautiful as their current surroundings.
“I’m not surprised they still tell it, it’s certainly more interesting than some of the creation stories I’ve heard.” Saima’s excitement rubbed off on her a little, maybe because it told her it was something truly worth seeing, and when they hit the clearing her steps ground to a halt as she took in the scene. It almost felt like the meteor sang too, just not in the same sense; something you felt in your bones instead of your ears. “I didn’t expect it to be so big, though I guess I should have…Is there a parallel for this? Something that reflect on the other world.”
“Hm, that’s fair. With the changes that Earth has undergone over the years, it’s easy for any places like you’ve had might have altered or disappeared. I’d be definitely willing to visit places that you do have.”Although the comparison would be pointless as their home was a whole another territory, seeing some of Lea’s cherished places would be appreciated.
“Oh certainly. There’s a lot of interesting stories that have been passed down through many folktales and the imagery that comes with it is often stunning.”To share in this excitement of being in a place that resonated with them to the core. “Ah yeah. Well, there are rumors that the island Saaremaa which is the largest island in Estonia is a reflection of that original meteor crash and maybe some of the other islands are fragments from that crash.”
