Tere! I don’t really have any plans for Christmas dinner. I usually do some visiting of people in the days leading to Christmas. But nothing planned for the day itself.
“I go out in the morning, for my usual run. If I miss a day, the dogs go crazy and chew on each other all day – OH! I got cameras for my house. One in the living room and a few for the outside. It’s fun to check on the dogs occasionally.”
“Right, right. Still have to keep an eye on those precious dogs. Makes sense to have those around the house – especially when you have to be out and about for a little while.“
“Mmmm. And then coming back home where it’s warm and you can watch the snow keep falling.” Those are really nice mornings, even if he doesn’t have many mornings free. “I need to take more time off to enjoy those days”
“Indeed. I can’t wait to enjoy those kinds of mornings.“ It was nice to make the most of the coming winter season. Made things all the easier to survive as far as Saima was concerned. “You really should – I think having the chance to enjoy those mornings is all the better.“
“Even the snow is nice, early in the morning when everyone is still asleep and it’s thick and deep and smooth. It makes everything quiet”
“Those moments are absolutely wonderful. Going for strolls in those early mornings are really nice – the vision of the white snow spread out over the area is beautiful.“
“I hope they’re staying warm….. The local street carts have been taking in coin hand over fist in Berlin, especially the ones that sell mulled wine and hot chocolate.”
“I’m ready for the Christmas Markets to really get going.”
“Oh they have been. They get all bundled up in their old costumes – so they always seem cozy if humorously dressed when I see them. “ A wistful sigh at the mention of mulled wine.
“It really is that time of the year. I can’t wait for the markets either – it’s really a great season for those festivities.“
