J – 3. are there any songs that bring them joy? P – 2. what is their worst personality trait?

There are many songs that bring Saima joy but a few are

Homme – Mari Pokinen

Feeling is New – Pia Fraus

Woodland – The Paper Kites.

2. worst personality trait?

Saima’s worst personality trait is likely the callousness that they are very, very capable of having. If someone really gets on their bad side, there with be a cruel kind of indifference to the way Saima addresses them and they’ll be very casual about the actions that they are willing to take against them.

J5 – what brings them the most joy in the world?

What brings Saima the most joy in the world?

I think the sharing of stories, the transmission of memories, of myths, of creations from the past brings them a lot of satisfaction. In song, in performances, in writing, in plays – any form of creation that allows for the transmissions of stories that may otherwise be lost and/or hidden are especially precious to Saima. As are those who are dedicated to making sure that people continue to hear these stories which shaped the way they see the world and their homeland.

note on physical change

Because a lot of Saima’s dysphoria had derived from their privates while they were presenting and read as a man. So due to that, once they started pursuing their true self, relearning what they could really do to alter their appearance and forms – they used some shifting spells to change the source of their discomfort to a form they are now much more comfortable with. – so roughly equivalent to a post op (bottom surgery) deal. These changes also accompanied the change in facial features.

Most of their body didn’t change too much outside of a slight softening of features and a somewhat more defined waistline and more noticeable but still fairly slender hips.

ifemerel‌:

“ oh a grimace, realizing he’d drudged up some rather unpleasant memories. on the plus side, Saima was the one who came out on top, obviously unburnt and still very much alive.  sorry to hear that… he’s not sure what else he can say, offering a look of sympathy.  I’m always glad I wasn’t born back then… I don’t know what people would think of me– of what I can do. probably nothing good. and I can DEFINITELY be set on fire, so...  without question, it would’ve been a bad time! even now, he’s a little uncertain about revealing his magic to people. but the worst thing he expects is to be called crazy– not a pyre. people were much less… fanatical, these days.

well, at least that’s all behind you now. things were simpler, bearing witness to boring love potions, not in fear for their life… but–  I bet things were more exciting way back when. when people still believed in & understood magic, and all that.  .  . wait, did they ever? or is that just in stories? it’s hard to imagine a world with witches and everything else supernatural out in the open. but it sounds kind of nice. no secrets; people would respect you…

maybe someday it could be like that again. but humanity was definitely not THERE yet!

Saima gives a small shrug in response, it was a harsh situation but they were used to such things coming up over time. “I guess. I’m still here nonetheless. So I can’t complain too much. But yeah, it would have been rough for you in those situations – some people might have found your abilities useful. But if there were conversion efforts – beware.” Such was the facts of imposed religions causing more trouble in their spread. Still, they would take witnessing the creation of love potions over that period again anyday.

“Oh, I do remember when people still believed in those stories – that’s when I started making my appearance among folks – when those stores were spread as truths. Their ways of interpreting the world around them.  Those times were pretty enjoyable and fun as far as I can recall.“

“I wouldn’t mind being shaped by the Russian. Meow.” What can he say? He likes big old white guys. Especially when he might be asphyxiated to death (sexually of course). “Although I can’t see myself behaving contrary to how I am now. My customs are perfect.”

Saima just stares at him with the most unsettling look. “Well, you can go handle that on your own.” Deadpan responses are the only way they can manage to respond to shit like that.

“Hm, true. I guess in the end you came out great the way that you are.“

ambrosia sits and tilts her head at the newcomer, but deimos knows she’s not going to outright approach them, like he’s trained her not to. deimos’ smile is relieved, and a bit sheepish. ❝ are you sure? i can move aside. ❞ not that moving three feet onto the grass is going to make his dog happy.

“I promise you, it’s fine. I was just out here to get some fresh air. ” Saima is a little curious about the dog, tempted to tilt their head a bit in return. Something they’ve done with animals before. “Don’t need to move for my trouble – if I was really trying to get anywhere, I’d have no problem going around.”

napuleh‌:

“Or impose anything at all. I’m a redhead, they should have known better than that.” If he had a blanket, he would curl up in the chair for a rest. That’s how comfy it is in here, and how much he trusts S. “Did you ever have anyone like that?”

“You’d think they learn. But no, they take it as a challenge somehow.“ Insert a droll roll of the eyes on Saima’s part. “Oh yeah. I had a bunch of people trying to shape me one way or another – Danes, Swedes, Prussians, Polish for a bit, Russians. Always trying to convert our people into their ways. Such is the nature of those seeking empire.“
