Keeping her promise, Erzsi shows up to their show excited for a night of great music and light drinking. She didn’t want to get too crazy and not be able to make it back to her hotel. Beer in hand, she moves to the music, cheering when Saima takes the stage.

After their show, Erzsi finagles her way backstage to meet up with them. She waves at them, “Wow! Just wow! That was amazing!”

The night of the event had come and it’s an honor to see that Erszi was able to make it for their performance. It makes Saima all the more determined to put on a great show. Alternating between guitar and piano while singing, they give a performance that often feels from the beyond.

After the show, they had been talking to a few people backstage and just relishing in the post-show glow when they saw Erszi wave at them. Standing, they excuse themselves to go talk to her. “Erszi! I am so glad that you made it. I’m really happy that you enjoyed yourself.”

“They’re lil’ terrors.” Rosemary sighs with a smile as she finishes washing out her dress, figuring it’s the best she can do for the time being. Before she can pull the piece of clothing out of the sink though she suddenly feels a sharp pain in her stomach and starts to fall backwards.

“Certainly can be.” They say with a small grin. But seeing Rosemary start to fall, instincts kick in and Saima moves quickly to catch her. “What even, we need to get you somewhere comfortable. What’s happening, Rosemary?”

traumeriin‌:

“I mean, they felt really bad about it…but even so.” Rosemary shakes her head as she continues to work at the stain. Since she has two kids, she has gotten pretty good at getting them out. “I’m sure you don’t have to deal with this sorta stuff.”

“At least they felt back even considering the troublesome stain.” Saima speaks with some sympathy for that situation. “Not often but I’ve done some tutoring and some babysitting as a favor. So I’ve encountered things here and there.”

“Go ahead–.. Feel it… I bet you can’t guess what this shirt is made from..”

Cautiously, they take a small feel of the shirt. “Honestly, it seems really nice. I don’t know what my guess would be – probably something really fine and rare. Seems like your style to go with a unique and valuable fabric.”

“Ye got somethin’ fer me to fix, or are ye just fuckin’ staring?” The mechanic squints, wiping at his sweat ridden brow, voice irate and just a touch exasperbated. He disliked having someone peering over him in any respect, and the boy had been doing that for nearly twenty minutes. Clyde was begining to wonder if the other even had a reason for being there, because who in their right mind would linger in a fume infested garage for the fun of it.

Saima glances down at the ground wondering if they should have left a while ago. They weren’t even sure why they had been insistent on just observing the work being done here. Especially since what they had didn’t seem to have that serious of a problem. “Well, I have something that maybe you could take a look at. But I wasn’t sure if you were too busy to check it out or not.”

“Jeez Louise…” Rosemary mumbles as she tries to wash her dress in the sink. “Ari and Dahlia were bickering and they tried to throw their drinks at each other, but it ended up on me!” She sighs and shakes her head. “I don’t even know how they learned to do that! They must have been awake while I was watching Bachelorette reruns…”

“Oh dear. That’s quite the situation. Guess that would be the only place that they’d see that kind of nonsense.” It was strange the kind of behaviors shown on those types of shows, and even stranger knowing it was recreated by children. Or at least attempted to.

“It is! Depending on your partner, of course. And if you don’t mind a few bruises, busted lip, and sore muscles.” Erzsi remarks with a smile and a shrug. “If I get back into it, I’ll invite you to a session, if you want.”

“Which instruments do you play?”

“Hah, true true. That risk seems to come with the territory.“ But they could certainly see the appeal of taking up that kind of physical activity. “Oh cool,  wouldn’t mind checking it out.“

“I play piano, keyboard, kannel – which is a traditional string instrument, guitar and cello. I used to violin as well. “

She regards Saima, head cocked to the side. The aura she is sensing from them is very… unique… perhaps it’s because she hasn’t encountered anyone or anything like them. “Now this is new… and maybe it is for you, too. I’ve never met someone with your energy before.”

It’s always interesting when someone is trying to size them up to get a feel for what they are. Saima knew they were an unusual case in many ways and so it made these kinds of encounters all the more intriguing.

“Ah, well. I do tend to throw off a lot of people’s senses.“ They give a bit of a playful smile, taking some humor in that strangeness. “You do have a sense that I’ve somewhat encountered before albeit only occasionally.“
