“This honestly feels like shedding a somewhat comfortable but ultimately unsatisfying and confining skin. It’s the only comparison that I can even picture with this kind of change.”

“Perfect,” she snapped her fingers, already knowing this was going to be fun. “Do you have a preference? I’d give you the honors on choosing our first victim.”
“I always like scaring those who seem too full of themselves. Tend to be high-power types. It’s fun making them lose their composure. I’m sure we could find one of those quite easily.” The whole idea of picking someone to scare was already making Saima excited enough.
“Nature should be well taken care of,” Coatli nodded, anyone who respected nature was on her protect list. There were so few of those.
“Hmm, that is very sweet of you to say. Not sure my children would have the same sentiment.” Not that she knew where her children were. She had the sense they were dead and if she was being honest, she was not too sure she wanted to remember that particularly part of her past.
“Indeed. It’s so easy for people to take advantage of it – but..it’s really the only thing that’s been here all along.“ Saima had always been incredibly attached to nature, it felt quite close to their core.
“…Perhaps not. But I was just saying things from what I knew. Of course, your children would likely have more direct experience to know for sure. “
“I’ll take your word for it, unless I do decide to start dabbling in video editing. Hmm, I might have a new hobby on the horizon.” Erzsi wasn’t really good with technology, but maybe with a little practice she could pick up a new hobby.
“I can tell! I haven’t seen you this happy in a couple years. It’s a great look for you.” She complimented them with a sincere smile. “How do you keep the energy up for the entire show? It looks exhausting.”
“You never know what you might get into.“ Still they appreciated the vote of confidence in their ability.
“Thanks. I had to make a lot of changes to get this happy – so it’s really been a work of process.“ It had been transformative over the past few years – with coming into their true self after years of hiding it or not being aware of it. It feels like becoming a whole another being.
“It looks exhausting but I get an energy from performing that just kind of enthuses me and gives the power and the ability to just channel that sense of wonder into music.“
